Kumbh Mela 2025: One of the biggest and holiest religious gatherings in the world, the Maha Kumbh Mela takes place every 12 years. This much-awaited gathering is set to take place from January 13 to February 26 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

Thousands of pilgrims come to bathe in the sacred rivers to purify their souls. In addition, millions attend the celebration of faith, solidarity, and long-standing customs.

India’s first ‘Dome City’: Here’s All About It

In addition to comfort and security, the contemporary lodging complex offers expansive views of the Kumbh Mela. There will be forty-four modern domes in the Dome City, each measuring 32 by 32 feet and rising 15 to 18 feet.

Dome City is expected to have 176 completely furnished cottages in addition to the domes, each with contemporary conveniences like air conditioning, geysers, and provisions for Sattvik cuisine, according to reports.

The charges for staying at these unusual lodgings vary depending on the time of the event.

A dome will cost Rs 1,10,000 during the bathing festival, while regular days will cost Rs 81,000. The cost of cottages is Rs 41,000 on normal days and Rs 81,000 during the festival.

The goal of this enormous endeavour is to raise the bar for lodging during India’s most sacred religious event by providing guests with a fusion of contemporary luxury and traditional spirituality.

The Dome City will draw both domestic and foreign visitors who want to enjoy the Kumbh Mela.
