Christina Haack confesses her insecurities over past relationship failures

Christina Haack’s latest reality TV appearance revealed that some relationships, like dilapidated houses, are beyond repair.

On the season premiere of HGTV’s The Flip Off, the interior designer opened up about her troubled marriage to ex-husband Josh Hall, sharing new insights into their tumultuous relationship.

After telling her first ex-husband Tarek El Moussa about her and Josh’s divorce, Christina disclosed that the retired firefighter had a less-than-ideal side before they ended their marriage permanently last summer after two years of marriage.

Christina, who has a son Hudson, 5, with her second ex-husband Ant Anstead, and children Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9, with Tarek, told her ex, “He doesn’t like me,” on recent episode.

“He calls me c***y. He thinks I’m arrogant, when we both know I’m not cocky or arrogant and I just do work.”

Tarek tried comforting his ex during the emotional heart-to-heart, telling her, “You’re not any other those things. He’s projecting. You’re a great mother, a great daughter. You are a great human.”

Christina wasn’t the only person who saw Josh lose his temper.

“The kids literally asked me to leave,” she recalled to Tarek. “They told me he’s not nice to me.”

The 41-year-old also revealed to Tarek that Josh was “insecure” with him and occasionally “would not speak to me for two or three days” throughout their marriage.

Then, when she reflected on going through three divorces in less than ten years, Christina started crying.

“I feel like I’m in a tornado all the time and I just can’t get out of it,” she cried to Tarek.

“Everything since like 2016 has been so hard and so horrible. It’s really taken a really bad toll on me. There’s so many good things but there’s so many bad things and it’s taken a really bad toll on me.”

In a confessional, the Christina on the Coast star shared her insecurities over her past relationship failures.

“I never wanted to get divorced,” she admitted. “I’m the only person in my family to ever get a divorce. So I just feel like it’s safer to be back in a relationship, but ultimately that was not safe either.”
