Grammy Awards 2025: Queen Latifah’s cape features 66 pyramidal structures of four different sizes to form the silhouette.
American rapper, singer and actor, Queen Latifa graced the 67th Annual Grammy Awards stage to honour Alicia Keys with the Global Impact Award. Making a powerful entrance in an all-black ensemble, Queen Latifah paired her monochromatic blazer set with a three dimensional cape from Indian couturier Rahul Mishra’s Couture Spring 2025 collection, The Pale Blue Dot.
Queen Latifah adorned The Reverberating Metropolis, which a floor length cape consolidating three dimensional structures representing skyscrapers hand embroidered in thread and sequin work.
Exuding the boss of the future vibe, the stunning piece of art was crafted in over 1200 human hours at Rahul Mishra’s couture atelier in Noida, India. The cape features precisely sixty six pyramidal structures of four different sizes to form the futuristic silhouette.
Queen Latifah took over the stage as she took everyone through renowned artiste Alicia Keys’ journey. The couture piece from The Pale Blue Dot collection is born of loss and the slow process of healing. Similarly, this year, The 2025 GRAMMYs telecast was reimagined to raise funds to support wildfire relief efforts and aid music professionals impacted by the wildfires in Los Angeles.
Emerging from darkness into the light, the Rahul Mishra silhouette stood tall on the Grammys 2025 stage as Queen Latifah addressed the members in the audience. This special look was the opening ensemble of Rahul Mishra’s showcase at Paris Couture Week and was celebrated on the runway by Coco Rocha.
Queen Latifah styled the monochromatic look with a sparkling high jewellery from Maison Spoiled. Queen Latifah wore the Spoiled High Jewelry Wild Daisy Necklace and the Spoiled Staples 55mm Hoop Earrings with Natural Diamonds. Thus, adding regal opulence and dramatic aesthetic to her couture look.
The 67th Annual Grammy Awards was attended by an array of celebrities including Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Jay-Z, The Weekend, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eillish, Charli XCX, Jaden Smith, Willow Smith, Chappell Roan, Madison Beer, Shakira, Lady Gaga, Will Smith, Cynthia Erivo, Miley Cyrus, Anoushka Shankar, Norah Jones, Paris Hilton, Doechii, Olivia Rodrigo, Benson Boone and Cardi B among others.
