Tom Cruise left fans surprised with his unexpected appearance at the Super Bowl 2025 pre-game clip.
The video was shared on his Instagram, which showed him talking about the hyped-up game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, while referencing his forthcoming Mission: Impossible 8.
The fans, however, felt a difference in the way he looked in the clip. They felt that the 62-year-old actor’s face looked extremely stretched out in the pre-game promo.
The appearance has created a buzz on the internet with some speculating that the action star went through possible cosmetic enhancement recently, which is making him look unnatural.
One of the social media users jokingly wrote: “Tom Cruise’s hair & face looks like the mask the psychopath in Cross puts on.
Meanwhile another penned: “Tom Cruise on this #SuperBowlLIX talking about pressure – there is no greater pressure than that of his skin trying to stay stretched on his face.”

Professionally, Cruise is looking forward to the release of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which is scheduled for May 23, 2025.
