‘The Big Bang Theory’ spinoff makers welcome another OG on-board




‘The Big Bang Theory’ first aired in September 2007

The Big Bang Theory spinoff is reportedly in works bringing in the OGs from the actual TV series.

Previously, sources revealed that actors Kavin Sussman, Brian Posehn and Lauren Lapkus, who played Stuart Bloom, Bert Kibbler and Denise respectively in the American sitcom, will returning for the spin-off show.

As per the latest development, another major star has been taken on-board for the all-new project.

John Ross Bowie, who was also a part of the hit comedy series, will also be starring in the spin-off, reprising the role of the role of Caltech plasma physicist and string theorist Barry Kripke.

As per The Wrap, Bowie has signed the holding deal with Warner Bros. as the new venture has not received a greenlight yet.

Backed by Chuck Lorre Productions in partnership with Warner Bros. TV, the forthcoming project Zack Penn and Bill Prady. Any other major details are still kept under wraps.

The original sitcom directed by Mark Cendrowski was first aired in September 2007.

It featured Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar in significant roles.
