Britannia Industries CEO Rajneet Singh Kohli has resigned from his position as CEO and Executive Director, effective March 14, 2025, to pursue an opportunity outside the company.
According to official filings with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Kohli submitted his resignation on March 5, 2025. The Board of Directors acknowledged his resignation through a circular resolution passed on March 6, 2025.
Kohli was appointed as a member of the Executive Leadership & Board of the Company, designated as Executive Director & CEO of Britannia Industries Limited on 26 September 2022.
“After much thought and deliberation, I have reached a tough and difficult decision, to resign from the services of the company with effect from March 14, 2025, to pursue an external opportunity. I would request to kindly waive off my notice period and relieve me from March 14, 2025,” Kohli said in the resignation form.
Varun Berry, Executive Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Britannia Industries said : “Mr. Rajneet Singh Kohli has decided to resign from the services of the company to pursue an external opportunity. We thank him for the contribution during his tenure as the CEO and member of the Britannia board, and wish him the best in his future endeavours.”
Kohli joined as Britannia’s CEO in September 2022 and previously held leadership roles at Domino’s India, run by Jubilant Foodworks, Asian Paints and Coca-Cola Co.
Britannia shares slipped -0.63 per cent on Thursday to end at Rs 4690.80 per share on BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 4746.95 apiece, against the previous day close at Rs 4720.40 apiece.
