Outrage as Israeli attacks break Gaza ceasefire, killing hundreds – SUCH TV

At least 14 Palestinians were killed in overnight Israeli attacks on southern Gaza’s Khan Younis and Rafah, apart from the attacks, drones are everywhere in the skies of Gaza City.

The northern parts of the Strip are clouded with these drones that keep buzzing and causing much concern and worry for the already traumatised and displaced population.

In the earlier evening hours, at a site in Deir el-Balah, two people were reported killed – confirmed by Al-Aqsa Hospital.

There have been more attacks on other public facilities across the eastern part of Gaza City and the northern part, causing further civilian casualties and pushing more people into further internal displacement in the western part of the city.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Tuesday that massive overnight strikes on Gaza were “only the beginning”.

Netanyahu said in a video statement on Tuesday evening “Hamas has already felt the strength of our arm in the past 24 hours. And I want to promise you — and them — this is only the beginning”.

The Israeli premier said in his address that “from now on, negotiations will take place only under fire,” before adding: “Military pressure is essential for the release of additional hostages”.

Hamas on Tuesday called on “friendly countries” to pressure the US government into halting its ally Israel’s renewed air strikes on Gaza that have killed over 400 people.

“We call on friendly countries to pressure the US administration to halt this aggression and genocidal war against defenceless civilians”, the Palestinian movement, which has not yet responded militarily to the strikes, said in a statement.

UN chief Antonio Guterres says he is “outraged by the Israeli air strikes in Gaza”, joining a chorus of international condemnation as more than 400 Palestinians have been killed, including many women and children.
