Samvardhana Motherson Dividend 2025: Samvardhana Motherson International Limited has declared the interim dividend of 50 paisa per equity share for the financial year 2024-25. It has now fixed the record date for the said interim dividend for determining the eligibility of the shareholders.

Shares of Samvardhana Motherson International Limited gained almost 2 per cent to end at Rs 134 per share, against the previous day close at Rs 131.45 apiece. The day’s high and low remained at Rs 134 and Rs 131.85, respectively.

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited is in auto components and equipments manufacturing. It has a market cap of Rs 94 lakh crore, making it a constituent of BSE 100.

Samvardhana Motherson Interim Dividend 2025 Record Date

The company has fixed March 28, 2025 as the record date for the interim dividend for FY2024-25.

Samvardhana Motherson Acquisition

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (“the Company”) had acquired 55% of equity share capital of CIM Tools Private Limited (“CIM Tools”) on April 6, 2022, thereby making CIM Tools as a subsidiary of the Company.

The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 21, 2025, approved subscription of upto 20,000 (Twenty Thousand) numbers of 9.25% Compulsory Convertible Debentures of face value Rs. 1,00,000/- each (Rupees One Lac Only) aggregating upto Rs. 200 crore (Rupees Two Hundred Crores Only) (“hereinafter referred as “CCD”) on preferential basis, in one or more tranches, issued by CIM Tools.

In the past week, Samvardhan Motherson’s share price increased by 13.15%, while the Sensex, BSE AUTO, and BSE Consumer Discretionary indices saw gains of 10.88%, 5.14%, and 5.59%, respectively. Over the past two weeks, the share price rose by 8.30%, with the Sensex increasing by 6.60%, BSE AUTO by 5.22%, and BSE Consumer Discretionary by 5.80%. In the last month, the share price grew by 7.55%, compared to Sensex’s 5.97%, BSE AUTO’s 4.74%, and BSE Consumer Discretionary’s 2.04%.

Since the beginning of the year, Samvardhan Motherson’s share price decreased by 21.25%, with the Sensex down by 13.69%, BSE AUTO marginally down by 0.67%, and BSE Consumer Discretionary dropping by 5.89%. In a three-month period, the share price fell by 23.20%, while the Sensex declined by 14.76%, BSE AUTO by 0.62%, and BSE Consumer Discretionary by 4.15%. Over six months, the share price plummeted by 72.30%, whereas the Sensex decreased by 35.05%, BSE AUTO by 8.16%, and BSE Consumer Discretionary by 18.98%.
