Following a price rally earlier this week, gold has experienced a decline in both international and local markets, with the price dropping by Rs3,000 per tola in the local market on Thursday.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce dropped by $28, bringing the new global price to $2,893.
On the other hand, in local gold markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola saw a reduction of Rs 3,000 on Thursday, with the new price settling at Rs304,000 per tola.
Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs 2,571, bringing it to Rs 260,630.
It is worth noting that just the day before, gold prices had risen in both global and local markets. As a result, gold in the international market increased by $5, reaching $2,921 per ounce, while in local markets, the price per tola rose by Rs 700.
