Colleen Hoover, the author of It Ends With Us, has previously made her position clear on the legal battle between the film’s leading pair.
But as the controversy deepens, the acclaimed author appeared to take a step back from the overall conflict.
According to Just Jared, her Instagram account has been deactivated without any explanation from her side.Â
Last month, she lent support to Blake Lively amid her accusations against Justin Baldoni.
She had “been nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met,” the author wrote. “Thank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.”
In the meantime, the legal battle between the co-stars has been growing. Justin’s legal team recently released behind-the-scene footage of a scene in which Blake claimed she was sexually harassed.
His attorney, Bryan Freedman, claimed that ten minutes of unedited footage “clearly refute Ms Lively’s characterization of his behaviour. The scene in question was designed to show the two characters falling in love and longing to be close to one another.”
“Both actors are clearly behaving well within the scope of the scene and with mutual respect and professionalism. These are all three takes filmed of the sequence,” he concluded.
