Every weekday the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer holds a “Morning Meeting” livestream at 10:20 a.m. ET. Here’s a recap of Wednesday’s key moments. 1. The broader market rebounded Wednesday, with the S & P 500 and Nasdaq trying to snap their four-day losing streaks. The Dow was on pace for its third straight winning session. Defensive sectors like consumer staples and health care were laggards as consumers expressed less optimism about the U.S. economy. On the consumer discretionary side, Club stock TJX Companies jumped more than 3% after the off-price retailer delivered a strong quarter and what was viewed as conservative guidance. Jim Cramer called TJX the “ultimate value stock.” Club members should watch their texts and emails on Wednesday afternoon for our TJX earnings analysis 2. The main event on Wednesday is Nvidia , which reports earnings after the stock market closes. Shares of the AI chip leader jumped more than 4.5% ahead of the release, which would break a pretty rough three-session losing streak. The Club name’s quarterly results and guidance could determine the trajectory of the market Thursday and beyond. Jim wants to hear that DeepSeek’s AI model claims won’t hurt business. Salesforce , another Club holding, delivers earnings Wednesday evening as well. Jim will be looking for updates on how Agentforce is selling. Salesforce shares rose 1.5% ahead of the numbers. As of Tuesday’s close, the stock dropped five sessions in a row. 3. Eli Lilly caught a positive catalyst call from JPMorgan ahead of its Phase 3 readouts for its oral GLP-1 type 2 diabetes drug in the second quarter and obesity in the third quarter. The analysts see a favorable risk-reward into these events with shares up 10% in their base case against a low probability downside. Eli Lilly Wednesday announced plans to invest at least $27 billion to build four new manufacturing plants in the U.S. That brings the company’s total expansion commitment to more than $50 billion since 2020. “The other companies just don’t have the firepower to do that,” Jim explained. Shares of Eli Lilly got a 1% bump on the news, bucking modest weakness in the health-care sector. 4. Stocks covered in Wednesday’s rapid fire at the end of the video were: Lowe’s , Cava , Sempra , and General Motors . (Jim Cramer’s Charitable Trust is long TJX, NVDA, CRM, LLY.
