Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer has left royal fans in tears with his special tribute to his late sister on Christmas Eve, reminding royals of the late Princess who died in August 1997 following a car crash in Paris.
Prince William and Harry’s uncle turned to his official Instagram account to share a poignant moment at his sister’s grave on Christmas Eve, renewing the memory of People’s Princess with his meaningful gesture.
The 60-year-old Earl Spencer posted a photo on social media showing a grand black bench beneath Diana’s memorial at Althorp House, where the siblings grew up together.
He wrote: “My favourite bench – good place to sit on Christmas Eve during a quiet moment.”Â
Harry’s beloved uncle also shared a contemplative photo of Oval Lake in his Instagram story, showing shadows of bare trees over the water.
It is to mention here that Princess Diana’s final resting place lies on an island in the middle of Oval Lake at Althorp House, accessible only by boat to close family and friends.
