Actress Nazish Jahangir has received significant relief as the arrest warrants issued against her have been cancelled.

The Lahore Cantt Court annulled the non-bailable arrest warrants on the condition of her providing a bond of Rs50,000.

The actress appeared before the court with her lawyer, Barrister Haris, as Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Shabbir Sial conducted the hearing in the case filed against her.

The case was lodged by actor Aswad Haroon, who has accused Nazish Jahangir of embezzlement, fraud, and issuing threats. As per the case, she has failed to return Rs2.5 million and a vehicle.

However, after her presence today, the court revoked the arrest warrants. The case has been adjourned until 28th April for further proceedings.

Earlier, Lahore court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for actress Nazish Jahangir in connection with a fraud case filed by Aswad Haroon.

The court has instructed authorities to arrest her and present her before the court in relation to the Rs2.5 million fraud case. According to Aswad, she has failed to return the money or his car, prompting him to take legal action.

Aswad claims that he and Nazish became acquainted while working together on a mini-drama. Over time, they developed a friendship, during which he gave her expensive gifts, took her on an Umrah trip, and lent her Rs25 lakh in cash.

Additionally, he alleges she took his car and has yet to return it. These accusations have led to a legal dispute, with Nazish largely remaining silent about the case but denying all of Aswad’s allegations, calling them false. She has also approached the authorities to stop the spread of negative propaganda against her.
