Pratik Gandhi will be next seen in Dhoom Dhaam. In a latest interview, he revealed how he achieved his six-pack abs for the movie.

The actor revealed that he cut out carbs and salt from his diet.

After delivering some of the most memorable performances last year, Pratik Gandhi is all set to enthral the audience once again with Dhoom Dhaam. As per reports, the movie will feature the actor in a never-seen-before avatar. He will be seen flaunting his six-pack abs in his upcoming movie. In a latest interview, the actor revealed how he achieved this physique.

In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Pratik Gandhi said, “I was always like this—maybe not with such sharp definition, but largely the same body frame. However, a lot of hard work went into achieving this look for the film. I ate a lot of protein, worked out intensely, and barely got any sleep. I drank very little water and endured cramps—all for this body.”

Talking further about how he achieved the six-packs, Pratik also shared what he ate to get the toned abs. He continued, “I had read many actors’ interviews where they talked about how difficult it is, but I come from a different school of thought when it comes to fitness, so I used to think I would never do all this. But I ended up doing it. For four days before the shoot, I only drank one litre of water a day—including all liquid intake like tea and coffee. I also completely cut out carbs and salt. When you don’t consume carbs, you become irritable. I was just waiting for the sequence to get over so I could drink water properly again.”

Inspired by Pratik, here are five dietary tips to keep in mind when you are trying to achieve six-pack abs.

  1. 1. Create a Caloric Deficit: To reveal your abs, you need to reduce overall body fat. This can only be achieved by consuming fewer calories than your body burns. Focus on healthy, whole foods and avoid sugary snacks or processed foods.
  2. 2. Prioritize Lean Protein: Protein is essential for muscle building and repair. Include lean protein sources like chicken, turkey, fish, tofu, and legumes to support your fitness goals.
  3. 3. Incorporate Healthy Fats: Don’t shy away from healthy fats, as they are essential for hormone production, including those related to muscle growth and fat loss.
  4. 4. Eat Plenty of Fibre: Fibre-rich foods help with digestion and keep you feeling full, reducing the likelihood of overeating. Aim for a variety of high-fibre foods to support a lean body and gut health.
  5. 5. Limit Refined Carbs and Sugary Foods: Refined carbs and sugary foods can lead to bloating, weight gain, and inflammation. Stick to complex carbs (like brown rice, quinoa, oats, and sweet potatoes) to keep your blood sugar stable.
