Savannah Chrisley clashes with brother Grayson over college dorm decor

Savannah Chrisley’s younger brother, Grayson Chrisley, is now a college student, and Savannah is still adjusting to this information.

The 27-year-old Chrisley Knows Best singer was joined by her 18-year-old sibling in the most recent episode of her Unlocked podcast, “Grayson’s Bama Adventures,” following his first month of college at the University of Alabama.

Savannah couldn’t resist mentioning throughout their talk how Grayson’s dorm didn’t meet her standards for interior design.

As his elder sister prepared him for college life away from home, Grayson remembered that “every day” would bring “another Target trip.”

“But are you prepared?” she asked, to which Grayson admitted he was “Overly prepared.”

Savannah valued having a storage space for her baby brother’s snacks. Grayson, on the other hand, felt that his sister’s purchases made his dorm feel smaller than his friends’.

“Well, they’re just not prepared,” she joked.

Correcting her, Grayson added, “No. They’re prepared. Their parents just didn’t go buy furniture and put it together in the door.”

Savannah insisted that everything in his room had a purpose: “You needed something to go under your bed to hold all your stuff. I mean, you’ve got all your snacks in there.”

She also referred to the dorm furniture as “disgusting.”

“It’s not that bad,” Grayson said.

Savannah claimed that even though the dorms could be appropriate for a first-year college student, they were so awful that she wanted to add some “wallpaper” to make them look nicer.

Grayson mocked, “She went a little overboard,” unconcerned that his sister needed to redecorate.

“It’s just, it’s so gross. It’s like that nasty brown color. Oh my God, no,” Savannah said, adding, “We need to make dorms great again, you know?”

“Have they ever been great?” Grayson asked. “You can’t make something great again if they’ve never been great.”

Savannah has already voiced her disapproval of her younger brother’s decision to attend college.

“You want to go so you can go to football games and so you can party. You can’t even get up,” she told her brother in an April 2024 Unlocked episode.

“It would be different if you could keep your room clean [or] if you could get up to an alarm clock. You’re wanting to go to college, but you can’t even do the basic, bare minimum.”
